春天的花粉熱還真是無人可以抵抗!

Springbank 8yo (55.3%, OB, WIP sample)
84 points
. Sample reserved from 2006 Tokyo Whisky Live Springbank Master Class. Yellow golden, quite smoky with lot's ofnutty feel. Quite strange palate but OK finish.



Springbank 8yo 1995/2004 (56%, OB, Springbank Society, 306 Bts.)
C: Brown. Sample reserved from 2006 Tokyo Whisky Live Springbank Master Class.
N: Sherry cask? Sulfer, sherry, malty, a little bit heather, some familer fermentation nose, easter.
P: Sulfer, burned rubber, nutty, balanced and thick. finished long and well.
C: 86 points. A very well thiick and unique Springbank. with lot's of nutty and sulfer nose.  年輕的Springbank似乎相當的重酒體而且複雜, 在葡萄酒來比擬,似乎是較有陳年實力?



Springbank 10yo 1996 (51.5%, Exculsive Malts. C#589, herry Cask)
C: Brown. watering. 2007 Limburg sample.
N: Malty, with hint of lemon/citrus, fresh fruit, lemon zess.
P: Medium body, swet, nutty bitter, woodiness.
C: 85 points. A very nice and easy Springbank.



Springbank 12yo 100 proof (57%, OB,  +/-1995)
C: Golden brown. 2006 Limburg sample.
N: Very malty, vanilla, orange, cinnima, apple pie.
P: Medium body, long finish. very nice palate. sweet.
C: 91 points. a very nice one with good impression of the house style.  這就是以"完美的Springbank" 而聞名的那隻酒, 100proof曾經出過很多版本, 近年來酒友常見的都是10年的版本, 評分多半介於85~90之間, 12yo 100poof多半都90年代中期的裝瓶, 有50%, 57%, 同樣是57%的也有好幾個版本, 評分幾乎都在90以上, 每次出現在auction都是天價.  不太確定我這隻是哪一個版本,也許是UK版?個人也許期待過高, 給分似乎嚴苛了些, 但是還是覺得高於90一定是沒問題的.



Springbank 14yo 1979 (46%, OB, Big "S" label, +/-1993)
C: Golden. 2007 Limburg sample, seems to be a France bottling)
N: Fresh, citrus, with some malty nose. Lot's flower, heather, grain/husk.
P: Sweet, medium light body. short finish.
C: 87 points. Very good and fresh nose, some drop in palate and finish.  猜測如果不稀釋會好很多.



Springbank 26yo 1969/1995 (51.7%, Signatory, Dumpy bottle, 790 bts.)
C: Deep gold. 2007 Limburg sample
N: Orange, pear, malt, hint of animal and farm. very malty.
P: Medium body, medium finish. finished well and sweet.
D: Much more citrus and malt.
C: 88 points. A nice old dram.  猶記得99年前後在員林的梅山挖了好多這種的矮胖瓶的Signatory, 便宜又好喝, 幾乎都是買了就喝. 現在還真的有點後悔呢!



Springbank 1966/2000 Local Barley (55%, OB, C#511)
C: Golden, 2007 Limburg sample.
N: Vanilla, orange, malt, old grain.
P: Medium light body, very nice palate and finish. lively and powerful.
C: 91 points. 喝過好幾隻Springbank Local Barley, 從來沒有低於90以下, 真的是非常棒的酒! 雖然很貴, 但是比起目前著名的一些天價酒, 這隻應該還是酒友們可以負擔的名酒!

Tasted in Limburg 2007 with my Japanese friend Hideo.  Clear hose style, with power! 這是日本朋友Hideo帶去會場請的酒,我們兩個算是常在全世界不同的威士忌場合碰面,當天很隨意的喝掉了,與好友共飲,何必太嚴肅呢!
