去年底協助常瑞幫Andrew翻譯品飲會, 會中沒機會喝, 討了些樣品回來, 認真喝了一下, 還真的有幾支很不錯呢!

Place: at home


Bruichladdich X4 (50%, OB, new spirit)

C: Cristal clear.

N: Beautiful fruity nose, lots pear and apple. new spirit nose.

P: Mild, soft, quite mouth coating. very easy drinking.

C: 80 points. much better than I expect. Andrew他們有找到紀錄認為這是五百年前古人喝的威士忌(四次蒸餾新酒), 不得不說這喝起來比我預估的要好太多了. 當然這是已經稀釋過的, 喜愛純淨高酒精度的飲品的人可以試試看.


Bruichladdich 2001/2008 The Resurrection dram (46%, OB, 24,000 bts. dis. Oct. 23, 2001)

C: Light yellow.

N: lots citrus, hint of peat, malty, quite nice tropical fruit, pine apple, still quite new spirit like.

P: Light body, young. finished short. easy going.

C: 81 points. I actually like it a lot but quite a pite to have it bottled at such  a young age. Bruichladdich剛復廠的時候Jim想做的事符合艾雷島印象的重泥煤威士忌(也就是現在的Port Charlette), 但是他們很快就發現其實有相當多人喜愛原本的淡泥煤風格, 於是他們很快的調整風格, 在Oct. 23, 2001這天回復生產低泥煤Bruichladdich, 這就是這支名為"復活"的特別款的由來, 這批酒也罕見的用了10ppm的低泥煤麥芽, 比後來的5ppm略濃一些, 也較容易聞出泥煤味. 個人其實還蠻喜歡這種低泥煤產品. 沒試過的人一定要試.


Bruichladdich 15yo Link 'Valhalla' (46%, OB, ACE Climons Barsac)

C: Golden.

N: Strong citrus, rich fruit, sweet, lots malt.

P: Medium light body, medium finish, quite strandard Bruichladdich, some honey note, quite honey finish.

C: 83 points. a standard good Bruichladdich, good, just lack of potential. Link高爾夫球場系列本身有一群球友收藏, 酒質也都很有水準, 短時間很難看到效益, 但是長期來說相當具有增值潛力. 


Bruichladdich 16yo 'A' Cuvee First Growth (46%, OB, ACE Ch. Lafite Rothschild)

C: Golden.

N: Rich fruity note mellon, mango,enjoyable malty nose.

P: Nutty bitter, some artificial feel.

C: 80 points, nice nose, but not so good palate. quite some drop. Bruichladdich的過桶產品很多, 其中不乏許多有名的葡萄酒一級酒廠. 不過可惜的昰特色是有了, 但是加分的不多,不免讓人感覺過於注重行銷而忽略酒的本質. 這支酒的聞香很棒, 但是口感並不佳, 可惜了!


Bruichladdich 23yo 1984/2008 Golder Still (51%, OB)

C: Golden.

N: Beautiful flower nose, lots fruit. first impression is no doubt a winner. Honey, apple, very rich flower note.

P: Medium heavy body. linger, a very enjoyable one.

C: 90 points. just so nice that you got to try. 一支無法抱怨的美酒, 充滿花果香氣的甜美作品.

 

Bruichladdich 36yo DNA (41%, OB, 900 Bts.)

C: Brown. somewhat red.

N: rich malt, ripe apple, old malty note, banana.

P: medium body, long finish, no doubt a very nice one.

C: 90 points. if you like good old malt, this is just the one. 據說DNA來自原廠最老的幾桶酒, 也無庸置疑的表現出Bruichladdich最棒的老酒特色. 也是好酒一支.


Port Charlotte 'PC 7' (61%, OB, 2008)

C: Golden brown.

N: Peat, very fruity, open a while and getting better. mint. iodine, smoke, light grain.

P: Medium body, strong, quite nice.

C: 90 points. Port Charlotte is geting better, are they going to do it all the way to PC10? 之前都買了兩箱, 開始有點懷疑會不會一路出道PC10, 今年只買了一箱. 還是很不錯的酒. 今年去酒廠要問一下這些在Bruichladdich製造的酒與之後真正的Port Charlotte到底要如何區分?


Octomore 5yo Edition 1 (63.5%, OB)

C: Light yellow. 

N: STrong, new spirit , peaty, interesting . quite thick. malty, last long.

P: Light body, strong peat, finished long and well. 

C: 90 points. a very good one, much better than I expected. 很想找時間跟我買的那批future比一下. 很不錯的酒.
