Single Malt Lover!

Place: at home.

Clynelish 1972 (59.7%, bottler unknown OB?, C#5641, Black, white, red Label. +/-1992)
C: Dark brown, a little bit greenish.
N: Heavily sherried, clean, chocolate, sweet, raisin/prum, blackberry, malty grain.
P: Salty, Clean, medium light body, medium finish. very enjoyable. straight taste better.
C: 91 points. Sample from Brian's friend. Extream nice finish. very good palate. 可惜很不確定這支酒的來頭, 很想看一下長什麼樣子.

Clynelish 32yo 1974/2006 (58.6%, Whiskyfair, Bourbon, 266Bts.)
C: Golden.
N: Beautiful malty/grain. Sweet fruit.
P: Medium light body. extream long finish. salty. malty.
C: 91 points. Again, very nice finish, and keep going for a long long time. Adding water get some peat. 這支酒真的很棒, MM 2006的金牌的主, 我在競賽盲飲的時候前後分別打了90與94分, 也感覺到較多的泥煤味. 這支sample 是跟Whisky Fair買酒的時候附在裡面寄來的.

Clynelish 32yo 1972/2005 (49.9%, The Single Malt of Scotland, C#15619)
C: Yellow gold.
N: Malty, cookie.
P: Light short finish. dry.
C: 82 points. Comparing easy, 感覺上與前兩個sample不是在同個級距. 這支sample好像是仕原帶來喝的時候留下來的, 不過不是很確定.

Brora 21yo 1977/1998 (56.9%, Rare Malts)
C: Gold.
N: Light peat, malty, grain. cookie, hint of white flower.
P: Very nice and sweet, medium light body. long finish.
C: 88 points. very flowrish, best in palate. 忘了是誰給我的sample, 感謝!

Brora 28yo 1971/1999 (50%, OMC, 283 Bts.)
C: Light yellow.
N: Peaty, sweet, grain.
P: Medium body. warm. medium finish. Iodine.
C: 85 points.  I thought this is the one I've tasted before, but it turns out to have several 1971 OMC.

Brora 29yo 1972/2002 (59.9%, OMC, Platinum)
C: Gold.
N: Flower, pea, earthy. animal, zoo,
P: Light, dry, salty short finish, mouth watering.
C: 85 points. A very strong animal feel. nosing enjoyable, but palate too simple. dilute taste much better. 應該是國外寄來的.

Brora 30yo (56.6%, OB, 3rd Edition)
C: Gold.
N: Peat, lots Iodine, rich and long. a little bit animal. still very malty.
P: Sweet and rich, medium body, medium finish.
C: 89 points. almost there, just lack of some touch. 奇怪的是我打Clynelish都比Brora高些.
