Springbank 1962 (46%, OB, bottled +/- 1995, Big S label)

This one could be an exclusive bottle for Taiwan.  Color: Golden, very oil, very fine and beautiful legs.  Nose, very beautiful malty and nutty nose.  Mint, then hint citrus.  Some rice and mint as well.  After a while, some tropical fruit comes out.  Palate: Smooth yet powerful.  Quite enjoyable.  Finish: Malty sweet. Long.  Quite a palate killer.  Score: 86.

Ardbeg 25yo 1976 (50%, Silver Seal, 280b. not chill filtered)

Color: Golden brown.  Nose: very peaty, very Ardbeg.  Not very clear leges.  Lot’s of tropical fruit.  Malty sweet.  Very enjoyable.  Thick .  Palate: Smooth, thin, mild body.  Finish: long.  The first impression: this one is not so powerful as normal Ardbeg.  Mild! But very warming feel in the mouth.  However, it stay in the mouth quite long and very enjoyable.  Some sea wind and salty feel.  Adding water get more mint and flower.  Score: 90.

Caol Ila NAS Cask Stength (55%, OB)

Color: light yellow.  Nose: Peaty.  Light style.  Very light tropical fruit.  Mild.  Palate: easy peaty malt.  Yet quite Islay.  Finish short.  An very peaty yet enjoyably and acceptable one.  Score: 90.
