Single Malt Lover!

Port Ellen 15yo 1969 (40%, Sestante)
Color: Golden, clear legs, slow, thick.
Nose: Peat, some nice tropical fruit, very fruity. Nice. Apple, pear, raisin, Lemon.
Taste: Mild body. Sweet. Complete. Finished very nice and long.
Conclusion: 92 points. What a surprise! Thanks to MARA.  Another very nice Port Ellen. Who said Port Ellen need to mature long?



Port Ellen 24yo 1978 2nd Release (59.35%, OB, 12,000b.)
Color: Golden.
Nose: Strong, Iodine, Salty, Plum, Fruity, Citrus.
Taste: Full body, Very salty. Medium finish, powerful.
Conclusion: 91 points. A killer for sure. But very good.  Finished very salty. I just like it.



Port Ellen 25yo 1978 4th Release (56.2%, OB, 5,100b.)
Color: Goledn, not very clear legs.
Nose: Malty, some peat, decomposed food. Apple, nutty.
Taste: Mild, midium body, Medium finish, still a killer.
Conclusion: 90 points, Not bad, but just had two even better editions.
