Golden brown. Quite sherry. Nutty, citrus. A little bit toffee. Quite nice nose. Deep. A hint of white chocolate. Mellow. Very nutty in palate. Happened to be the one I don’t like. Robust. Score: 76.
Convalmore 16yo 1981/1997 (43%, Ultimate)
Yellow, quite nice bourbon cask. Woody, fruity. Mint. Very nice yet a little bit simple. Malt sweet palate. Adding water get more citrus. Lime peel. Score: 83.
Benromach 19yo 1978/1998 (63.8%, UDRM)
Nice and deep. Golden. Malty. Citrus, woody again. Simple. But taste very good. Adding water get some peat. Score: 88.
Ledaig 20yo (43%, OB)
Peaty. Iodine. Quite a surprise. I would guess Caol Ila if in blind tasting. Some heather. Weak in Palate. Finished shore. Score: 85.
Talisker 20yo 1981/2002 (62%, OB, 9,000b.)
Very nice, I really like it. Score: 92. Same as last time.
