Springbank 14yo (46.7%, SMWS, No.#27.52, Port Pipe)
Brown to Red color. Port Sweet, Citrus, Mint, Dry. Finished port like. Suger. Could be one of the best port finish I had before. Second to Balvenie 21yo. And one thing further, it create a very unique taste, nothing like other port finsih. Score: 84. (S: 84)
Springbank 25yo Limited Edition (46%, OB)
Brown color. Sherry, flowerish. Very nice balanced nose. Freshing. Strong, finisled quite long and mature. A little bit salty at the end, but not sea. Very oil, even adding water, still an outstanding malt. A winner, no doubt. Score: 92. (S: 93)
Glen Garioch 1984 (55%, OB, Dark Red Label)
Light Clean Yellow color. Heavy peated, Fresh. Kind of weak and too simple. Salty. Score: 82. (S: 89)
Glen Rothes 1989 (63.8%, James MacArther's Old Masters)
Yellow. Strong, Fruity. Kind of sweet. Taste is much bette than just nose. Dilute is even worth. One thing for sure, Glen Rothers was actually, trying to Score: 90, (S:83)
Glenlivet 1976 (59.9%, James MacArther's Old Masters)
Brown color. Sherry, but not too heavy. Standard Glenlivet style, a little bit dry. Very nice sherry Glenlivet. Score: 86, (S: 85)
