Royal Lochnagar NAS (43%, OB, 6,540 Bts.)

C: Brown.

N: alcohol, malty, light sherry, sweet, caamel, light citrus.

P:Light to medium body. short finish. bitter ending.

C: 76 points. Kind of too sweet, lack of power. 皇家藍勛似乎從來都不是我的菜, 新裝瓶當然也不例外.

Caol Ila 8yo unpeated (64.2%, OB, 2008)

C: Light yellow.

N: Beautiful creamng note, milk lke, malty. citrus, oaky and woody.

P: Light body, medium finish, salty.

D: Really open up the nose. also taste better.

C: 88 points. really nice, 很棒的無泥煤Caol Ila, 加水後表現尤佳.

Glen Elgin 16yo (58.5%, OB, 9,954 bts.)

C: Brown.

N: Woody, flower, light malt, anmal, sour mash.

P: Medium body, medium finish. quite clear sherry note. salty finish.

C: 87 points. a very complex and very good sherry malt. 比預期的要來得複雜而重雪莉得多.

Linkwood 26yo 1981/2008 (54.5%, OB, 1,260 bts. 500ml, refill american oak then 14yo in rum cask)

C: Yellow.

N: light rum, new spirit, balanced well but not Linkwood.

P: Medium light body. medium short finish.

C: 83 points. very nice rum finish malt. yet not really like 26yo. 相當不錯的蘭姆風味桶.

Linkwood 26yo 1981/2008 (55.5%, OB, 1,260 bts. 500ml, refill american oak then 14yo in red wine cask)

C: brown.

N:Plum, malt, new spirit.

P: very bad cask, bitter, medium body, medium finish.

C: 76 points. not my style, and certainly not good cask. 壞桶?

Linkwood 26yo 1981/2008 (56.9%, OB, 1,260 bts. 500ml, refill american oak then 14yo in port cask)

C: brown.

N: gun powder. plum, very nice.

P: very sweet, medium body. medium short finish.

C: 80 points. nosing like sherry, too sweet in palate. 不太像port finish. 整體來說這三支Linkwood過桶做的不太好,但是包裝真的很不錯, 瘦長的三支擺在一起相當吸引人, 連我都很想買一套收藏.

Port Ellen 29yo 1978/2008 (55.3%, OB, 6,618bts.)

C: Light yellow.

N: Medical, citrus, peat, bourbon cask, fruit.

P: Medium light body. medium finish.

C: 88 points. good peaty malt. but not complex enough. no sherry influence, more like refll cask. Quite unusual. 這是這一系列Port Ellen中最沒有雪莉桶影響的一支.

Brora 25yo (56.3%, OB, 2008)

C: Yellow.

N: Grassy, light sherry influence. almost no peat, Clynelish?

P: Medium light body, medium finish. still not Brora.

C: 85 points. really disappointing. but still a good one. 可能是關廠前最後向著Clynilish靠攏的產品吧!

Lagavulin 12yo (56.4%, OB, 2008)

C: Light yellow.

N: New make, citrus, peat, strong.

P: Light body medium finish.

C: 88 points. peaty finish. light but quite nice. 不錯而強勁, 雖然比預期的輕.

Talisker 1986 Double Mature (45.8%, B, T D-S:5AM)

C: brown.

N: Sweet, island.

P: Quite nice island malt, sweet.

C: 88 points. a good Taliker. 標準島嶼麥芽,也如預期的甜, 果然不愧是過PX桶的產品. 之前只給了82, 顯然是給低了.

Talisker 25yo (54.2%, OB, 9,708 Bts. refill cask. 2008)

C: Yellow.

N: Citrus very fruity.

P: a little bit pepper, dry.

C: 84 points. somewhat strange. 有點說不上來的怪異, 應該再喝一次!

Talisker 30yo (49.5%, OB, 2,970 bts. 2008)

C: Yellow.

N: Animal, tropical fruit, mango.

P: Light body, medium finish.

C: 90 points. a master piece. 相當棒的一支老酒, 想不通在Whisky Magazine怎麼給那麼低.
