Single Malt Lover!

Macallan 17yo 1989/2007 Glenkeir Treasures (40%, The Whisky Shop, 20cl bottleac)
C: Golden, Gift from Murder(for club members)
N: Lot's citrus with hint of malt. nutty. hint of tropical fruit. complex, sweet, heather.
P: Medium body. oil. Medium finish, 甜膩感, Very Macallan.
C: 78 points. Not a very enjoyable Macallan. Complex, but not my style.  這支酒是Murder帶回來請大家喝的酒. 聽說是The Whisky Shop裝給會員的特別酒, 另一支帶回來的是Deanston.  老實說這幾年裝瓶商出的Macallan都蠻令人失望的, 好久大概都裝完了吧!



Macallan 8yo 1998 (54.7%, Exclusive Malts, C#816, 261 Bts.)
C:Light yellow, clear and bright. 猛禽標, Limburg sample.
N: Lot's of citrus, vanilla, very malty. 很刺鼻的酒精味!
P: Medium light body. powerful. finished long and sweet. orange.
Dilute: a little bit animal feel.
C: 88 points. A very nice young Speysider, I like it, but is it Macallan? 相當不錯的口感, 讓你一喝再喝, 以年輕的麥卡倫來說是一支相當不錯的產品,但是確實不怎麼找得到麥卡倫的味道!  喝了幾支猛禽標, 都很不錯, 想找人買一整套進來!這個圖案與Strathisla 30yo用的應該是一樣的, 魚鷹?


帶了目前正在搶攻麥卡倫市場的Singleton of Glen Ord 去, Maniacs 還蠻興奮的, 這支酒是亞洲專賣的酒!

Macallan 12yo 1989/201 (60.3%, Cadenhead's, 660 Bts.)
C: Light brown. Oil, sample from Bert.
N: Smoky, burned rubber, orange. tropical fruit. 楊桃, 刺鼻酒精, Malty.
P: Medium body. powerful, more typical Macallan. Nutty finish.
Dilute: burned robber, animal.
C: 87 points. A good sherried Macallan, has very nice Macallan style. Powerful. Finished powerful and nice. 當然不如同現在的麥卡倫的感覺, 但是整體來說酒廠的風格明顯, 而且還蠻不錯的一支酒!
