Morlach 25YO 1975/2000 (58%, Signatory Bottling, Cask#6258, 198b.)
Brown Golden. Honey, Fruity, Flowerish. Deep and pleasant. Citrus. Light Body. Complex. High Alc., palate killer. Score:90. My favorite today.
Benrinnes 23YO 1980/2003 (53.9%, Blackadder Bottling, Raw Cask, Cask#1352)
Golden. Nutty, malty, craming. A little bit tropical fruit. Thin body? Sweetness comes from malt. Score: 82. I think this one need some time to open up.
Macallan 25YO Fine Oak (43%, Original Bottling)
Gold Brown. Sweetness. Fropical fruit and Cirtrus. Some caremel. Smokeness Macallan at the back. This one is more sherry than I remember. I think the award sample is better.Score: 83.
Bruichladdich 20YO 2nd Edition Flirtation (46%, Original Bottling, Mourvedre wine cask finish)
Strange orange red color. Malty, fruity, deep sweetness. a little bit peat. Even a little bit Macallan. Dry. Score:83. I think my bottle is better.
Glenlivet 20YO 1983/2003 Cellar Collection (46%, Original Bottling, Ref#2L7F901, French Oak Finish)
Heavy sherry? complex. caremel. Easy drinking. I acutlly though this one is the Macallan. Score: 86. Don't think too much, your memory will cheat you.
Balvenie 25YO 1978/2003 Single Barrel (46.9%, Original Bottling, Cask#6128)
Very nutty. mint, citrus, honey. A weak bottle. Even some caremel. Score: 82.
Glenfarclas 25YO (43%, Original Bottling)
Nothing to compain. Heavily sherried. Smoky. Chocolate Complex. Score: 88
