今天(Oct. 12, 2007) 在整理藏酒, 收到這千禧年的Springbank六支一組套酒時覺得有點不對勁, 仔細一看, 天啊!我被魔鬼光顧了!



套酒中的50年居然只剩下一半, 40yo與45yo也有明顯下降, 掙扎了一下, 決定開來喝喝看, 果然, 50yo那支的酒死掉了! 酒精全數揮發, 僅剩下略酸而淡的黃色液體.  真的有點欲哭無淚, 老婆安慰我說:天使降臨了, 別傷心! 我說:絕對是魔鬼!


還是奉勸大家, 真的很珍貴的酒還是花點時間封一下, 尤其是這種金屬旋蓋的小瓶, 否則不如早點賣掉或是喝掉, 心疼啊!

Springbank 25yo (46%, OB)
C: Brown.
N: Malty, honey, deep, very nice tropical fruit.
P: Medium body, medium long finish.
C: 94 points. I'd like to cry, what a wonderful good whiksy.

Springbank 30yo (46%, OB)
C: Dark brown.
N: Very malty. dark fruit. deep nose.
P: Mil,medium body, long finish. rounded.
C: 91 points. A more matured version. Still un-belivable good.

Springbank 35yo (46%, OB)
C: Brown.
N: Old malt, barn, grain. ester.
P: Medium light body. medium finish.
C: 91 points. Start to feel like an old malt.

Springbank 40yo (40.1%, OB)
C: Gold brown.
N: hint of peat, rice, unique, old, grassy, flower.
P: Light body, minty, somewhat weak. last long. minty finish.
C: 93 points. A unique example different face of Springbank.

Springbank 45yo (40.1%, OB)
C: Golden brown.
N: Warm, lightly peated. old malt feel.
P: Light body. dry finish. last long. weak in body.
C: 90 points. somewhat weak in style. need some time. still enjoyable. 

Springbank 50yo (40.5%, OB)
C: Yellow.
N: Very weak. Gone. no alcohol.
P: weak, 
C: No comment!
