Glen Scotia 1996/2006 (45%, OB, Heavily peated, ex-bourbon cask, 330 bts.)
C: Light yellow, straw, clear, Limburg sample.
N: heavily peated, light vanilla, grain/malty fell. light fruity nose.
P: Light body, mild, salty, malty sweet. not vey Islay style. finished long and well.
C: 83 points. another unusual heavily peated Glen Scotia. good palate, easy. 另一支重泥煤版本的Glen Scotia, 比起Whisky Fair的那之桶裝濃度版本要稍微差一些, 但是卻較容易飲用! 其實我也不知道這是不是算原廠裝瓶?!
Glen Scotia 15yo 1991/2006 (62.1%, Clydesdale, C#0233/1080, 309 bts.)
C: Light yellow. Limburg sample.
N: Very light fruit. citrus, lemon.
P: Light body, powerful, finished well. fresh and good.
C: 84 points. Very fresh and minty. a little bit lack of complexity. Vey nice choice. 還是一樣清新的Clydesdale 版本.
Glen Scotia 30yo 1975/2006 (47.5%, The Whisky Fair. 96 Bts. Rum barrel)
C: Golden, oil. Limburg sample.
N: Some animal like feel. farm, not too much rum. strange.
P: Matured, medium body, medium finish. more rum in palate.
D: Get more woody feel.
C: 85 points. Nice choice. but not that impressive. 很奇怪的裝瓶數, 推測應該不是一整桶, Rum barrel的描述尤其奇怪?
