Balvenie 15yo 1990/2005 (47.8%, OB, Cask#10065)
C: Yellow clear.
N: Honey, vanilla, woody. malty sweet, cookie, fruity.
P: Hot, thin, light body. sweet, nice , finished. short.
C:79 points. nice and simple. but kind of boring actually. I think other previous casks seems better. 是口感改變了嗎? 整體似乎還好, 但是就是覺得無趣, 之前喝過的15年印象好得多, 也許是桶子的關係! 忘記是誰給的sample? SUSC? 感謝.
Balvenie 17yo New Wood (40%, OB)
C: Deep gold.
N: thick, much more vanilla, sweeter, more cookie, simplt but deep.
P: Medium body, heavier then previous 15yo, interesting one. only 40% but feel much heavier than the 15yo. Finished much better than 15yo. very sweet.
C: 83 points. Very enjoyable and good. I prefer to drink this one straight. 這支酒是在最後四個月換桶到全新的美國白橡木桶中, 可以理解的出現較多的香草甜味. 比預估的要容易喝.
