Ardmore 14yo 1990/2005 (55.8%, G&M, C#12285,12287, Refill bourbon barrels)
C: Yellow, clear, watering.
N: Very peaty, smoky, sea, iodine.A little bit cookie/grainy at back. Barly feel, nature.
P: Light body, finished well. Salty, yet with some nice malty sweet, Enjoyable yet a little bit hard feeling.ropical
C: 84 points. A very interesting malt. More like Isaly stily. but harder to take. Godd if not drink too much. 其實雖然Speyside地區的重泥煤款不多, 認真找尋還是有不少例外的. 對於調和師來說, 重泥煤的酒雖然所需不多, 但是在調和配方中卻是不可或缺, 這些大集團不可能完全依靠幾個著名的艾雷酒廠達成目標, 所以才會有這些有趣的酒出現.

Port Charlotte PC5 2001/2006 (63.5%, OB, 6,038 Bts.)
C: Yellow brown. Quite oil.
N: Peaty, thick, iodine. Lots tropical fruit, heathery. then turn out to have some malty and cookie feel. Veyr complex and layered one.
P: Light to Medium body, hot and powerful. very peaty bitter, finished short and dry.
C: 82 points. 這是一支非常不穩定的酒, 開瓶後需要相當長的時間醒酒, 我的經驗是一週後才會安定下來, 剛開瓶的時候聞香複雜但是入口艱澀, 苦味重而缺少感動, 尤其是胃部不斷抗議這是一瓶傷身的酒, 也許是期待高而失望深吧! Jim 老了嗎?

Bowmore 16yo 1990 (53.8%, OB, Sherry matured, 39 Casks)
C: Brown, quite oil and thick,.
N: Peaty, earthy, with lot's of sherry note. Bog, sea, seaweed. Very thick . Apple. 朝鮮薊.
P: Salty, medium-heavy body. Enjoyable, very similar to old Bowmore. Very nice Palate. Finished Long but strong.
C: 91 points. 這是一支很有趣的作品, 一樣在剛開始的時候很難忍受, 但是醒酒一段時間後(1~2個月)轉變為相當雋永的滋味, 奇怪的讓人上癮.
