Balblair Elements (40%, OB, 2004)
c: Light gold, very watering.
N: very nutty. Light orange peel.
P: Medium light, dry, nutty.
C: 75 points. Young and very standard, nothing special. 真的是很標準的一支酒.
Balblair 13yo 1990 (50%, The Golden Cask, C# 719)
C: Gold brown. nice legs.
N: Citrus, soapy. hint of flower, Grain.
P: quite nice and clean. Sweet, young, light body. Short sweet finish.
C: 77 points. nice speyside style. easy but spicy finish. 一直沒有搞清楚Golden Cask的來歷, 似乎僅在台灣出現!
Balblair 16yo (40%, OB, 2005)
C: Gold brown.
N: a little bit old malt feel. light peat. earthy, grassy, herb, banana, refill sherry.
P: Very light style, dry, clear old malt feel. refill sherry, reminds you speyside again.(But it's Highland)
C: 76 points. Interesting but not that pleasant. 感覺上頗複雜, 但是並不特別討喜.
Balblair 27yo 1974 (46%, OB, 555 Bts. Sherry Cask)
C: Brown, dark.
N: Heavy sherry monster, Malty and earthy.mint, raisen.
P: Medium body. rich, matured. mild.
C: 82 points. Quite nice sherry monster. lack of layer. 終於出現較好的酒, 會不會漸入佳境呢?
Balblair 31yo 1969 (45%, OB)
C: Clear gold.
N: Very nice light peat. (Highland style.) Easy, fresh, flower note, ripe apple. woody. fresh wood.
P: Very nice pallet, sweet, medium body. long finish.
C: 85 points. I just like it, easy but matured. 簡單但是討喜的酒.
Balblair 33yo (45.4%, OB)
N: Flower, some kind of woody again.
P: Medium light, dry, fresh, white flower.
C: 86 points. powerful, old, yet light . Pallet better than nose. 感覺上這間酒廠的酒並沒有想像中複雜, 但是卻令人驚訝的容易喝呢!
