Bruichladdich 32yo Legacy Four (47.5%, OB, 820b.)

Color: Yellow.

Nose: Very beautiful fruit nose. Pear, vanilla, malty, a little bit apple.

Taste: Mild! Finished extremely long. A little bit salty at end. A little bit dry. Conclusion: 88 points. Very nice and mature, a beautiful bourbon cask! I think this one performs even better than the previously two. But I don’t like this label.

Ben Nevis 6yo 1999/2005 (46%, MMCD, 6,000b., Cask type: Bourbon/Port)
Color: Brown.
Nose: Fruity, then quite clear port, then a little bit like rum. Robust, young! Even like new make!
Taste: Medium body, short finish, quite salty in month.
Conclusion: 86 points. Performs much better than I image.  Not very sea wind as I remember of the Ben Nevis house style. P/V ratio high, under NTD 1,000.

Springbank 9yo 1996/2005 (46%, OB, 480b. Cask type: Bourbon/Marsanne/Roussanne, Guigal Hermitage Blanc Casks)
Color: Golden orange.
Nose: Very stange. A little bit like white wine at the first impression indeed. But a very bad white wine.  Don’t know how to describe it.
Taste: Very salty, finished short.
Conclusion: 79 points.  I don’t know if this is a single malt. Not too bad, but just don’t match it with any malt I’ve tasted before.

Laphroaig17yo 1988/2005 (46%, MMCD, 360b. Bourbon cask)
Color: Golden.
Nose: quite peaty.  Matured. Matly.
Taste: Very salty.
Conclusion: 85 points. Quite like 15yo OB. Easy nose. Easier to accept than 15yo OB.
