Ledaig 30yo 1974/2005 (48.7%, Signatory, cask #3223, sherry hogshead, 208 bottles)

Brown.  Sherry sweet . Quite oil.  Medium peat.  Very nice.  Matured well.   Fruity sweet.  Perfect nose.  Nutty.  Very Islay.  Medium body.  Short finish.  Could it be Highland Park?  Score:91.

Laphroaig 31yo 1974/2005 (49.7%, OB for La Maison du Whisky, sherry, 910 bottles)

Dark brown.  Creaming.  Springbank? Sherry .  Matured.  Tropical fruit.  Light peat.  Medium body.  Very nice old peat.  Score: 91.  (Quite a surprise to me to know the answer.  This one reminds me more about the very old malt with some peat, but not that Islay, especially not that Laphroaig.)
