在噗浪上看到Lazy說Kilchoman的第一支威士忌以5400英鎊的高價拍出,正式裝瓶將在九月, 趕快來喝一下Limburg帶回來的這間酒廠的新酒(不滿三年不是威士忌), 恭喜艾雷又多了間酒廠!

Kilchoman NAS 'New Spirit' (62.4%, OB, C#446, 447, 20/12/07~07/02/08)

C: Clear, just  a dint of color, 48 days in the cask! Limburg sample.

N: Very fruity, with pear and orange, light flower nose, actually not as peaty as I thought. 

P: Medium heavy body, (actully quite full body feel). Medium finish, thicker than I expected. quite fruity taste.

C: 比預期厚實的新酒, 果香表現不錯, 酒體厚實, 還蠻值得期待.

Kilchoman 2yo 2007/2009 (62.9%, OB, C#07/2007, Bourbon cask)

C: light yellow. Limburg sample. 

N: Pine apple, minty, grape fruit, lot's citrus, lemon peel bitter, quite peaty nose. 

P: Robust, powerful, lot's gun powder(not sulfer), very peaty in palate. young, medium body, medium finish.

C: 82 points. better than I expected. actully quite drinkable. 以口感來說比我預期的好很多, 很值得期待的酒!.

Arran 2005/2009 'Peated' (59.1%, OB, Warehouse No.1, 3rd Edition)

C: Light yellow, Limburg sample.

N: Very malty, grain, light fruit nose, very little peat, 10ppm?, very Speyside.

P: Medium body, medium finish, very speyside, a little bit plastic ending.

C: 80 points. where is the peat? Arran嘗試泥煤的產品, 應該算是逸品吧! 但是只能說我一直沒有那麼喜歡Arran, 被比下去了!!!泥煤在何處? 頂多10ppm吧!
