C: Light peach, beautiful color, clear, quite watering.
N: New spirit like, very malty. with citrus, vanilla, hintof vinigar, a little bit cookie, very fruity.
P: Medium body, powerful, finished long and well.
C: 81 points. quite nice, stronger than my expection. 尾韻相當的長, 很豐富而有變化的酒.
Benriach 11yo 1996 (55.9%, Exclusive Malts, C#30608, 317 Bts.)
C: Yellow.
N: Vanilla, pear, coconuts, tropical fruit.
P: Medium light body, banana oil, finished well.
C: 82 points. Very unique, 相當棒的口感, 很獨特而不太像Benriach的酒.
Macduff 17yo 1990 (55.2%, Exclusive Malts. C#1043, 259 Bts.)
C: Light yellow, quite oil with good legs.
N: Grassy, 瓦楞紙般的臭味, 動物臭味.
P: Medium light body, medium finish. dry, powerful, very good palate.
D: nosing much better.
C: 84 points. Not very attractive but a very good one. 這支酒有點怪, 聞香超級臭, 但是口感超級好, 我覺得不是很吸引人但是確定是很棒的酒, 如果你勇於嚐試, 這是該試一下的酒!
Laphroaig (Islay) 8yo 1998 (53.7%, Exclusive Malts. C#103)
C: Golden.
N: Clear peaty and Islay style. malty, tropical fruit. robust, powerful, very fruity and very peaty.
P: Medium heavy body. long finish. Iodine. peat, nutty but good.
C: 88 points. quie nice young Laphroaig. 據說來自refill sherry butt. 不過不怎麼感覺得出來, 不過年輕的Laphroaig自有其魅力存在.
Tamnavulin 39yo 1968 (40.4%, Exclusive Malts. C#3665, 179 Bts.)
C: Golden yellow .
N: pear, creaming, ex-sherry old malt. hint of citrus, white chocolate, coconut, some minty and grainy note. lot's flower. Very nice and enjoyable.
P: Medium body, rounde. last very long.
C: 89 point. 實際開瓶後比之前拿到的sample好非常的多, 遠遠的就可以聞到迷人的香氣, 相當繚繞的口感. 尾韻悠長. 異常的順口!
整體來說, 猛禽威士忌都相當的有水準, 個人尤其覺得口感超棒, 會讓你不知不覺喝很多的那種酒. Richard還真是會選酒呢! 看起來往後酒友們真的有福氣了!
